Existing timber retaining walls will be removed and replaced with segmental concrete block retaining walls. Damaged pipe railing sections will be repaired, and gabion reinforcement will be constructed for eroded sections and bridge abutments. An overlook near the water's edge will be eliminated. An optional bid item covers work on the 1,014-foot "Lakeshore Loop," including crack sealing, asphalt seal coat, and segmental retaining wall construction.
Contract Details
This is a Solicitation for commercial items, anticipated as a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The Magnitude of Construction is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. Submission & Evaluation
Offerors must submit a Technical Approach, Past Performance, Pricing Documentation (using Attachment 3), and a Bid Guarantee. Quotes are limited to a maximum of 10 pages. Evaluation will use a comparative methodology, awarding to the offeror representing the best value based on Technical Approach and Understanding of the Project, Past Performance, and Price. A 20% bid bond is required, and 100% performance and payment bonds are required within 10 days of award. Contractors must be registered on SAM.gov.
