Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all personnel, transportation, tools, equipment, supervision, administration, chemicals, and parts necessary for semi-annual inspection, testing, and maintenance of wet and dry chemical fire suppression systems. This includes approximately 160 Nodes with accompanying panels and 8 VESDA facilities. Services also extend to supporting Edwards Fireworks fire alarm systems and Edwards System Technology (EST) building control panels, covering hardware, firmware, and software. All work must comply with federal, state, local requirements, OSHA, Air Force Instruction (AFI) 32-2001, and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards (e.g., NFPA 17, 17A, 70, 72, 96). Mandatory twelve-year hydrostatic testing is also required, along with contractor responsibility for cleanup, waste disposal, and system reinstatement.
