This solicitation is for the rental of four (4) two-bedroom apartments for medical residents assigned to the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC. The housing must be furnished, include utilities, and be located within 15 miles of the medical center to allow for timely emergency access.

• Four (4) furnished, two-bedroom apartments (minimum 950 sq ft each).

• Apartments must include a bathroom, full kitchen (range, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher), and separate living room.

• Furnishings include a full-size washer/dryer, TV (minimum 25-inch flat screen), bedroom, living room, and kitchen/dining room furniture, and basic kitchenware.

• All utilities (Water, Electric, Heat, A/C, Trash, Sewer, HOA Fees) must be included.

• Pest control services (regular and emergency basis).

• 24-hour security.

• Monthly single invoice billing for all 4 units.

• Contractor must provide a Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) within 30 days of award.

This is a Request for Information (RFI) to gauge industry interest and capability for providing rental apartments for medical residents at the Asheville VA Medical Center. The government is seeking to procure four (4) two-bedroom apartments.

• Site Visit: Contractor must establish a date and time for a site visit with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) prior to contract award and periodically throughout the contract.

• Contract Period of Performance: Base plus four (4) Option Years, commencing on July 1, 2026.
