To replace numerous Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Chilled Water Coils and Steam Coils in Air Handling Units (AHUs) across multiple buildings at the Lyons, New Jersey VA Medical Center to ensure proper heating and cooling capabilities and maintain critical redundancies.

• Furnish and install OEM Chilled Water Coils and Steam Coils for specific AHUs in Buildings 4, 53, 54, 57, 135, and 143.

• Includes all labor and materials necessary for complete replacement.

• Specific AHUs and coil types are detailed for each building.

• Associated piping shall be pressurized and leak tested post-installation.

• A complete startup of affected units is required, with VA HVAC representative presence for verification.

• Removed coils are to be returned to the HVAC Supervisor’s shop.

• All debris must be disposed of according to regulations, with waste disposal reports submitted.

• Assess AHU location for access and isolation.

• De-energize and lockout/tagout AHUs.

• Document existing conditions with photographs.

• Repair or replace any components damaged due to contractor's work at no additional cost.

• Notify hospital staff and COR of planned downtime.

• Period of Performance: Estimated completion time is 90 calendar days after receiving Notice to Proceed (NTP).

• Contractor shall provide a detailed project schedule upon award.

• Submit material submittals for major equipment and components prior to procurement.

• Provide a list of all on-site contractors/subcontractors for security clearances.

• Provide proof of required OSHA training for all personnel.

• Contractor employees require appropriate security badges.

• No photography of VA premises without written permission, except as required by scope.
