Statement of Work (SOW)

To modernize three (3) elevators and their associated machine rooms at Building 61 of the American Lake Campus to ensure smooth, safe, reliable, and comfortable operation, consistent with a seamless Automated Transport System for patient mobility.

• Provide all labor, materials, and equipment for the modernization of one (1) traction elevator and two (2) hydraulic elevators, including all associated components.

• Install new materials per manufacturer's instructions. Existing components removed become the property of the Contractor.

• Manage and dispose of construction debris and hazardous materials in accordance with VA, Federal, and State environmental protection procedures.

• Modernization packages will be submitted for Government approval prior to commencing work.

• Place of Performance: American Lake Campus, 9600 Veterans Drive Southwest, Lakewood, WA 98439.

• Period of Performance: Four hundred and thirty-five (435) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
