Work is generally to be performed during normal operational business hours, with off-hours work requiring prior approval. A phased approach is required to ensure at least one fully operational elevator is available at all times. The NAICS Code is 238290 (Other Building Equipment Contractors) with a size standard of $22 Million.
Key Requirements & Special Conditions
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including adherence to VA Construction Safety and Infection Control Policies (ICRA/PCRA), OSHA regulations, and detailed submittal processes for modernization packages, cost schedules, and safety plans.
