The overhaul encompasses comprehensive maintenance and repair services, including:

Towing Services: Transporting the YC-1381 from Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) to the contractor's facility and back.
Docking and Undocking: Dry docking or hauling the barge for underwater hull repair and preservation.
Hull Maintenance: Cleaning, Ultrasonic (UT) testing, visual inspection, preservation, and repair of the underwater hull, structural members, and exterior. This includes replacing zinc anodes, fenders, and reapplying specialized markings.
Deck Repair: Removing and installing new non-skid coating systems, repairing warped deck sections, and replacing deck fittings (pad-eyes, bitts, cleats, staples, chocks).
Void Preservation: Blasting, cleaning, inspecting, and repairing interior voids.

Contract Details

Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) job order under an existing MSRA/ABR.
Period of Performance: April 15, 2026 – September 30, 2026.
Place of Performance: Contractor's facility in Japan.
