Quick Summary
The Department of the Army, through the W7NV USPFO ACTIVITY OKANG 137, is soliciting proposals for the installation of new commercial-grade washers and dryers, including necessary infrastructure upgrades, at Building 1047 of the 137th Special Operations Wing at Will Rogers Air National Guard Base, Oklahoma City, OK. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Proposals are due April 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST.
Scope of Work
This opportunity requires the installation of new commercial-grade washer and dryer units, specifically the Alliance Laundry Systems SS030E-A model, along with comprehensive infrastructure upgrades. Key deliverables include:
- Installation: New washer and dryer units, new vent pipe, and dryer vent cover.
- Electrical: Installation of a new 208V power feed, disconnects, and an additional 15-amp circuit for the washer. The contractor must furnish and install a 120/208V 80A single phase, 2 pole breaker and determine conductor/conduit size per NEC. Existing electrical infrastructure is sufficient.
- Plumbing: Installation of new hot and cold water lines (utilizing existing 1/2" pipes, potentially from the Men's Bathroom ~50 ft away), and a new 3" washer/dryer drain connected to an existing floor drain. A sewer vent is required, and PVC piping is acceptable for the drain line. Existing plumbing infrastructure is sufficient.
- Structural: Demolition of approximately 25 sq ft of concrete, installation of dowels and rebar, and placement of new concrete (minimum 4000 psi).
- Venting: Installation of 8" galvanized spiral ductwork for the dryer vent system. Exterior wall penetrations require a fire-rated and weatherproof system, and interior firewalls must maintain their fire rating. No additional lint traps beyond manufacturer-provided screens or power vent are required.
- Quality Control: Development and maintenance of an effective Quality Control Plan (QCP).
- Compliance: Adherence to all installation/facility access and local security policies. Detailed architectural and engineering drawings (Layout, Plumbing, Mechanical, Demo, Electrical, Rebar plans) are provided in Attachment 2.
