Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This project aims to eliminate environmental hazards associated with three former sheep dip vat (SDV) sites in Prewitt, New Mexico, and restore the affected areas to their natural condition. The work involves site assessments, remediation of contaminated materials, and restoration.

• Remediation and restoration of three former SDV sites: Baca #1 SDV, Baca (New) SDV, and Haystack SDV.

• Comprehensive site assessments to identify and address toxaphene contamination in soil and potentially water.

• Removal of all remaining structures and remnants of the vats.

• Excavation and proper disposal of contaminated soils.
