Sources Sought Notice

This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for bids or proposals. It serves as market research to determine the availability and feasibility of specific brand-name items for a future construction project. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to solicit for brand-name Avigilon security camera software and hardware for the Roseburg VA Medical Campus, North Bend CBOC, and Brookings CBOC. The goal is to unify the existing three different video surveillance systems into a single platform for enhanced security and monitoring.

• Brand Name Equipment: Avigilon security camera software and hardware.

• Capability: Must unify surveillance across three VA locations.

• Approval: Avigilon software and hardware is Enhanced Risk Assessment (ERA) approved by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

• Vendor Capability: Interested vendors must demonstrate the capability to obtain and properly install the Avigilon system, including supporting components, hardware, software, and licensing.

• This is a Sources Sought Notice, not a solicitation. A future solicitation is anticipated.

• Purpose of Notice: To identify sources capable of providing the specified brand-name product and to notify potential offerors of the government's intent to solicit for this brand-name component.
