Scope of Work

The flooring must be uniform in length, with an acceptable range of 1000mm to 3000mm, and specific dimensions of L1490mm x 128.56mm or 125.5mm, T 8.4-8.5mm. Random lengths are not acceptable.
- Wood Adhesive: Approximately 50 pails of Shaw floor 3-in-1 Ultra or equivalent. Equivalent adhesives from the wood manufacturer are acceptable if suitable for indoor use and do not pose fume issues; Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) must be submitted.
- Delivery: To either the U.S. Despatch Agency in the U.S. or the U.S. Embassy Tokyo, Japan. Detailed packing and shipping instructions, including requirements for forklift-ready pallets and wooden crates, are provided.
Contract Details
- Type: Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order.
- Payment: Offers and payments will be in U.S. Dollars. Firms not meeting the U.S. firm definition will be paid in Japanese Yen.
- Taxes: Japanese Consumption Taxes are not applicable as the U.S. Embassy is exempt.
- Evaluation: Award will be made to the lowest priced, acceptable, responsible offeror based on initial quotations, though discussions may be held if necessary.
