Quick Summary

The Department of the Air Force is soliciting proposals for the construction of a new school drop-off lane at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, MS. This project, valued between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000, is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Proposals are due by May 27, 2026, at 09:00 AM CT.

Scope of Work

The project involves significant demolition and new construction near the Pass Road access gate on Ploesti Drive. New construction entails: regrading for positive drainage, constructing a new paved road for school drop-off, creating a dedicated drop-off/pick-up area, installing 9-foot wide parking spots, providing signage and striping, installing a 30 ft x 20 ft aluminum canopy, installing new storm drain inlets, relocating an existing fire hydrant, and reinstalling existing bike racks.

Addendum 1 modifies the scope to include the abatement of approximately 17 feet of existing hydrant lateral and the installation of a new 6-inch PVC pipe connecting to the existing 10-inch water main, due to suspected Asbestos Cement Pipe.
