Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for a comprehensive troubleshooting and repair effort for Building 26's HVAC system. This includes:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting failures in both the first and second-floor HVAC systems.
- Repairing suspected refrigerant leaks and low refrigerant issues on the first floor.
- Addressing leaking elbows and couplings on the second floor.
- Providing all necessary materials and labor, ensuring all fittings and refrigerant lines are re-brazed (no compression/crimped fittings).
- Recharging the entire HVAC system with R410A refrigerant, estimated not to exceed 75-lbs.
- Conducting a full system inspection, including pressure and vacuum testing, post-repair.
- Reinstalling or installing new, properly sized insulation for all piping and fittings.
