Scope of Work

The contractor will provide comprehensive fire extinguisher inspection, testing, and maintenance services. This includes:

Annual, 5/6 year examination, and hydrostatic testing for approximately 300 fire extinguishers.
Annual inspection, testing, and maintenance of one clean agent system (SHP PRO HFC-125).
Semi-annual inspection and testing of four wet chemical kitchen systems (Ansul). All services must comply with NFPA 10 and Joint Commission standards. The contractor is required to report any broken or malfunctioning equipment immediately to the VAMC Point of Contact and provide completed documentation for all inspections. Personnel must possess required training and certifications.

Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDV).
Period of Performance: One 12-month base period (February 23, 2026, to February 22, 2027) and four 12-month option periods, extending through February 22, 2031.
