Purpose
The 92 CONS LGC, Department of the Air Force, requires a Modular Wall Kit to establish a dedicated, reconfigurable teaching/training space for SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) students. The objective is to enhance student learning and consolidate training activities within an escape training laboratory.
Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide one (1) Modular Wall Kit in accordance with the attached "Salient Characteristics." Key requirements include:
- Modularity: Walls must be reconfigurable for various layouts and scenarios.
- Portability: Easy to assemble, disassemble, and transport by two people without additional equipment.
- Panel Construction: Approximately eighty-five (85) light-weight wall panels (4' x 7-10'), eight (8) to fifteen (15) doors (half inward/outward opening), and four (4) to twelve (12) non-opening windows.
- Frame Construction: Lightweight vertical uprights, horizontal stabilizer bars, and connectors.
- Size: Minimum 1,800 sq/ft to a maximum of 2,500 sq/ft.
- Usage: Primarily for indoor use, but suitable for outdoor use.
- Delivery: All shipping costs to Fairchild AFB, WA, must be included.
