Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide mowing and trimming services for grass, weeds, and brush sprouts at the North River Ranger District Administrative Site.

• Mow and trim grass, weeds, and tree and brush sprouts at the North River Ranger District Administrative Site.

• Services to be provided from April through September.

• Mowing equipment must be operated to prevent turf damage, and mowing is not permitted when the ground is too wet.

• Trimming is required around signs, fence posts, trees, shrubs, culverts, comfort stations, walks, roads, and other manmade objects.

• Cut grass must be removed from roads, sidewalks, paths, and parking areas.

• Fallen limbs and loose rock impeding mowing operations must be removed.

• Entrance signs are to be mowed and trimmed.

• Approximately 5 acres of grounds require mowing and trimming.

• Grass height to be maintained between 2" – 4 ½".

• Trimming to be at or below ground level, not promoting regrowth.

• Mowing work is considered complete only after trimming around all facilities is finished.

• The COR will periodically monitor performance through inspections and customer complaints.

• Location: North River Ranger District Administrative Site, 401 Oakwood Drive, Harrisonburg, Virginia.

• Period: April through September (base period plus 4 option periods).
