Amendment / Modification

• The due date for quotes remains May 22nd, but the submission time has been changed.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To improve workspace utilization, security, and operational efficiency at the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Cotton and Tobacco Program (CTP) Corpus Christi Classing Office.

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for renovations and office modifications. Key areas include:

• Front Office – Storage Area Conversion to Office: Repairing walls, repainting, recarpeting, modifying an existing door with a vision lite kit, and adding electrical and telecommunications receptacles.
• Front Office – Reception Area: Removing the existing counter, fabricating and installing a new solid wood and Formica counter, recarpeting, and extending a wall to square off the administrative area, including a new door with a glass window.
• Hallways and Break Room – Flooring: Removing existing tile and preparing/polishing the underlying concrete slab.
• General Office – Sliding Door: Installing an acoustic sliding door between the General Office and the new Assistant AD office.
• General Storage Room – Conversion to Assistant AD Office: Removing shelving, repairing walls, repainting, recarpeting, modifying the existing door with a vision lite kit, and adding electrical and telecommunications receptacles.

All work must comply with federal, state, and local building codes and USDA standards. Finish selections and device locations require USDA approval.

• Materials must be robust, water-resistant, easy to clean, smooth, and resistant to cleaning chemicals.

• Carpet standards include low pile, carpet tile only, "Peel and Stick" adhesive, minimum 20% postconsumer recovered materials, low odor, colorfast, commercial grade, 15-year warranty, and recyclable at end of life.

• Doors must meet specific size requirements, and the acoustic sliding door must achieve a Noise Isolation Class (NIC) 40 rating.

• Electrical and telecom work must conform to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes, with device locations approved by USDA.
