Scope of Work
The contractor will develop and administer a Summer Research Internship Program for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and Minority Serving Institutions (MSI). This includes:
- Recruitment, application processing, and participant selection.
- Creating and maintaining a program website and applicant/participant database.
- Coordinating applicant matching with laboratories, background investigations, and appointment execution.
- Processing stipends, relocation, and travel expenses.
- Planning and administering a Summer Research Internship Program Seminar and two HBCU/MI opportunity events (webinar, in-person workshop).
- Providing administration and programmatic support to broaden the scientific and technical talent pool.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award (IDIQ MA)
- Maximum Ceiling: $49,000,000
- Ordering Period: Five (5) years
- Set-Aside: Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program Set-Aside (FAR 19.15)
- Place of Performance: Students will work in government facilities (e.g., Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD); contractor personnel at their own facility.
- Task Order Type (for specific tasks): Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) for 12 months with three 12-month options.
- Minimum Guarantee: $500.00 (as per Amendment 0001).
