Scope of Work
This project requires the replacement of existing lock-sets on living area doors in up to 36 BEQ buildings with new Ving Card Signature RFID electronic lock systems. The specific repair locations and quantities are detailed in the attached "BEQ Lock Data Sheet." The new lock systems must be compatible with ANSI/BHMA A156.2 (Grade 1) and A156.3 (Grade 1) standards, include SFIC key override, deadbolts, and support interrogation of at least 600 events. The contractor must also provide a front desk system (computer, monitor, Ving Vision software, RFID encoder), spare RFID locksets, service terminals, RFID cards, and a master keying system. Training for the new lock system operation is required.
The facility will remain operational throughout the construction period, requiring minimal interference with normal activities. The contractor is responsible for protecting existing structures, verifying underground utilities, and adhering to the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Contractor Environmental Guide. One individual may serve as Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, and Safety & Health Officer if qualified.
