Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for all personnel, equipment, materials, and supervision to ensure a dirt and lead-free environment at Building 964. Key services include:
- Firing Range Cleaning: Removal of lead dust and particulates from shooter's slab and range floor, including washing with lead cleaning solutions and environmentally safe waste collection. Wipe samples will be taken before and after work.
- Dust Collection Unit (DCU) Cleaning: Cleaning and replacement of government-furnished filters, along with inspection for damage.
- Ventilation Filter Cleaning: Removal, cleaning, and re-installation of ventilation filters associated with the building ventilation system and DCU, performed every other work period.
- Waste Management: Setting DCU drums, transferring lead debris to final disposal drums, and transporting lead-contaminated waste to Kita Kyushu, and non-contaminated debris to an off-base facility. Government will provide drums for waste.

Special Requirements & Evaluation

Personnel must be skilled and qualified, and a contract manager with full authority and English proficiency is required. Compliance with Kadena AB security, OSHA standards, use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and submission of Manufacturer's Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemical solutions are mandatory.
