Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This document details the specifications for a roofing replacement project for Building 647 at the VANCHCS Mather campus.

• Complete replacement of the existing roofing system for Building 647, covering approximately 8,500 square feet.

• Includes selective demolition of the existing roofing, preparation of the roof deck, and installation of a new roofing system.

• Replacement of 10 roof drains, including associated piping, boots, strainers, and clamp rings.

• Installation of new stainless steel flashings, coping, column caps, and metal wall panel covers.

• Installation of worker access walkways (3 feet wide) to all serviceable roof equipment.

• Replacement of a roof ladder for Building 645 from the 1st to the 2nd floor roof.

• Repair of damaged mechanical curbs as necessary.

• New roofing system must be equivalent to a Ketone Ethylene Ester (KEE) roofing system.

• Membrane must be 60mil or better, reinforced polyester knit fabric with thermoplastic coating, white in color.

• Manufacturer's warranty for the KEE roofing system must be a minimum of 30 years.

• All work must be performed by fully qualified/certified personnel.

• Adherence to safety requirements (OSHA, VA guidelines) and infection control risk assessment.

• Submission of a detailed project schedule, safety plan, quality control plan, and waste management plan.

• Provision of photographic documentation throughout project stages.

• Location: VANCHCS Mather campus, Building 647.
