Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Cloud Based Command and Control (CBC2) software capabilities, specifically focusing on Battlespace Command and Control Center (BC3) software. This RFI seeks to identify potential sources capable of providing MSCT software licenses with BC3 extensions and associated development and integration support. The goal is to enhance warfighting capabilities through a multi-user interface solution that supports rapid integration, scalability, and operation across multiple classification levels in cloud and edge environments. Responses are due by noon EST on February 9, 2026.
Purpose & Scope
This RFI is for market research and planning purposes only, not a Request for Proposal. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/PAE C3BM/C3B) aims to gather technical data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to inform future acquisition strategies for the CBC2 program. The CBC2 program is a critical component of the ABMS, which supports the Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) vision by integrating sensors, AI/ML applications, and linking space capabilities with weapon systems. The initial focus is on supporting Homeland Air Defense Sectors (ADS), Tactical Operations Center –Light (TOC-L) enabled Control Reporting Center (CRC), and Air Base Air Defense System (ABADS).
