Eligibility

Scope of Work
The project requires the demolition of approximately 1000 square feet of existing concrete roadway, removal of 100 linear feet of existing 48-inch corrugated metal pipe, and removal of rip-rap. New construction includes installing 96 linear feet of new 48-inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) and new concrete headwalls on both ends, in accordance with NCDOT details. Backfilling with Aggregate Base Course (ABC) and stabilized rip-rap, along with seeding and permanent vegetative cover for disturbed areas, is also required. The work is located on Steel Tower Road within the Verona Loop Training Area.

Special Requirements & Notes
The road will be closed during construction, but the facility/activity must remain operational with minimal interference. One person may fulfill the roles of Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, and Safety and Health Officer if qualified. Offerors are advised that funding may not become available, and no award will be made without funds. A site visit will be scheduled via amendment. The project includes a Buy American Requirement for construction materials. Contractors must coordinate with ROICC and Range Control, call "Blackburn" daily, minimize sediment migration, and adhere to MUTCD for traffic control.
