Scope of Work
The awarded contractors will provide comprehensive IAQ and mold assessment services, including:
- Indoor Air Quality Assessments: Background air assessment, temperature, and relative humidity measurements.
- Mold Assessment & Documentation: Documenting and photographing visible mold growth or water intrusion, utilizing thermal imaging.
- Sampling & Analysis: Coordinating air sampling requirements with JBSA, performing sampling per accepted methodologies, and ensuring laboratory analysis by an American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) certified lab.
- Reporting: Providing written reports within 5 days of work completion, including photographic documentation and sampling results. Mold Protocol and Lab analysis reports must be completed within 10 days.
- Remediation Support: Preparing Mold Remediation Protocols if visual mold covers 25 contiguous square feet or more, and conducting clearances (visual and Lift Tape Tests) 24 hours after remediation. Services will be performed at eleven (11) geographically separated units (GSUs) within JBSA, including Camp Bullis, Fort Sam Houston, Lackland, Randolph, and others.
Contract Details

- Period of Performance: 5 years, from July 29, 2026, through July 28, 2031
