Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide one (1) Industrial Vacuum System, including:
- Steel Cylindrical Vessel: Minimum 2400 cubic feet internal volume, ASME rated for vacuum down to 10 Torr, capable of handling 100% dried air at < 350 PSIG and 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Must be suitable for outdoor locations with ambient temperatures of 40-110 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Vacuum Pump: Capable of achieving <13.8 Mbar or <10 Torr ultimate vacuum pressure, suitable for outdoor use (40-110F ambient). Includes a NEMA rated control panel. Power available is 240V or 480V; no water cooling system is available.
- Pump Exhaust Silencer: To reduce noise to < 85 dB during operation.
- Vacuum Booster: To increase flow and achieve deeper vacuum levels. The combined pump and booster system must achieve 10 Torr vacuum from the vessel within 30-45 minutes (objective), with a maximum threshold of 60 minutes.
- Deliverables: Commercial manuals for the system and a Certificate of Conformance (CDRL A001).
- Exclusions: Installation and start-up are not required.

Technical capability is significantly more important than price. The Government intends to award without discussions but reserves the right to conduct them.
