The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP) is soliciting proposals for a brand-name (eXactpark) or equal Automated Parking Guidance System (APGS) for its District of Columbia Facility (DCF). Purpose
The objective is to acquire, install, and configure an APGS to provide real-time parking space occupancy data to BEP parking managers and end-users via a mobile application and web-based portal. This system will improve parking management, reduce search time, and minimize carbon emissions at the BEP DCF.
Scope of Work
The requirement includes the design, supply, installation, programming, testing, and maintenance of hardware and software components. Key deliverables and services include:
- Hardware: SPS-X (Surface Mount) Wireless battery-operated parking sensors, Wireless LoRaWAN gateway, 46"X46" LED Displays (up to 5 zones), and associated installation.
- Software/Services: Managed service for connectivity and monitoring, Network Service for data/user management, and a Guidance Bundle (dashboard, API, public website, nav app).
- Installation: Three compact electronic parking guidance signs at DCF vehicle parking entrances.
- Network: Establishment of a dedicated, secured network for equipment communication.
- User Interface: Free, secured mobile application (iOS/Android) and a mobile-compatible web-browser for end-users.
- Performance: Sensors/cameras must achieve 99% accuracy; real-time data provision; strict downtime limits.
- Support: Comprehensive maintenance plan, training, user manuals, and prompt repair services.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price (FFP)
- Set-Aside: Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)
- Period of Performance: Delivery within 60 days after award. Base 12-month monitoring period after system operationalization, with two (2) one-year option periods.
- Place of Performance: Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Eastern Currency Facility (ECF), 14th & C Street, S.W., Washington, D.C.
Submission & Evaluation
