• Transformer Room to ATS Distance: The linear distance is approximately 35 feet.
• Communication Room Load: Requires a 200A disconnect for the total connected load.

• Vault Drawings: As-built or record drawings of the existing vault will not be provided. Core drilling will be required for new openings.
• Concrete Encasing: Boring is only required under existing roads, sidewalks, and concrete pads. Hydrovac trenching may be used in open grassy areas, with conduit encased in 4000 psi concrete where hydrovac is utilized.
• Cabling Route (COA #1): The specific route for the new cabling is to be determined by the contractor.
• Other Cable Routes (COA #2, COA #3): These routes are confirmed as not part of this work scope.
• Transformer Provision: The new proposed transformer will be provided by the contractor.
• Transformer Pad Requirements: A 4000 psi reinforced concrete pad, minimum 4 inches thick, is required, with the underlying soil compacted to 95% density.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To install a critical electrical line to Building 35's communications room at McConnell AFB, Wichita, Kansas, to ensure continuous power in the event of an outage.

• Installation of a 4" conduit (approx. 600 linear feet) via horizontal directional drilling from C2SG to Building 35.

• Installation of a 75 KVA transformer at the northeast corner of Building 35's communications room.

• Installation of a 6x6x6' precast utility vault with an elevated access top midway between C2SG and Building 35.

• Pulling and terminating Number 2 AWG 15KV wire through the conduit and connecting to the vacant switch at C2SG.

• Pulling 4/O wire from the transformer secondary to a disconnect and then to a transfer switch.

• Connecting the transfer switch inside the communications room, including providing necessary wires and lugs.

• Coordination with base personnel for power switch-over, requiring a minimum of 30 days' notice prior to energizing the new critical line.

• All work must comply with applicable electrical codes and base regulations.

• Materials and workmanship must meet industry standards and project specifications.
