Scope of Work

The requirement involves the construction, alteration, and repair of both male and female ceremonial flight suit uniforms for current and new team members of the Blue Angels (Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron). Services will support the Blue Angels located at Naval Air Station (NAS) in Pensacola, FL.

Key details from the Draft PWS include:

• Uniform Types: Male and female ceremonial flight suits (Officer, Fat Albert, and #7 Crew Chief).
• Annual Quantities: Approximately 102 Royal Blue Officer suits, 21 Navy Blue Fat Albert/Crew Chief suits, with an option for 51 Yellow Officer suits for "anniversary" seasons.
• Compliance: Uniforms must adhere to U.S. Navy Uniform Regulations (NAVPERS 156651) and the PWS.
• Material & Design: Flame-resistant Aramid fiber blend, custom tailoring, gender-appropriate patterns, specific color requirements, custom gold embroidered name tags/crests, American flag patch, two-pen pocket, zipper, Velcro waist belt, and ankle pockets.
• Performance Standards: Must meet safety, operational, and mission requirements, including specific standards for electrostatic decay, pH, dimensional change, and workmanship.
