Scope of Work
The primary objective is to replace existing locksets on living area doors in multiple BEQ buildings (specifically 36 buildings are detailed in the SOW) with new Ving Card Signature RFID electronic lock systems. The scope includes:
- Installation of new locksets compatible with ANSI/BHMA A156.2 (Series 4000, Grade 1) and A156.3 (Grade 1) standards.
- Provision of cylinders and cores compatible with Best Locks M-Series (7) pin and high-security cylinders.
- Supply and installation of a front desk system (computer, monitor, Ving Vision software, RFID encoder), spare locksets, service terminals, RFID contact cards, and 1500 resident/100 staff RFID cards.
- Implementation of a master keying system for each floor and a key cabinet for BEQ PP2.
- The facility will remain operational throughout the 540-day construction period, requiring minimal interference.
- Contractor is responsible for protecting existing work, verifying underground utilities, and providing training for the new lock system.
