Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation for comprehensive cleaning services at the 18th SFS, Combat Arms Firing Range, Bldg. 964. Key services include:
- Firing Range Cleaning: Removal of lead dust and particulates from shooter's slab and range floor, utilizing lead cleaning solutions and environmentally safe lead waste disposal. Wipe samples will be taken before and after work.
- Dust Collection Unit (DCU) Cleaning: Cleaning and replacement of government-furnished filters, including inspection for damage.
- Ventilation Filter Cleaning: Removal, cleaning, and re-installation of ventilation filters associated with the building ventilation system and DCU, performed every other work period.
- Waste Handling: Setting DCU drums, transferring lead debris to final disposal drums, and transporting lead-contaminated waste to Kita Kyushu, with non-contaminated debris to an off-base facility. Work is scheduled 6 times per 12 months, with each performance period lasting up to four days.
