Purpose & Scope
HITS-UIII is a continuation of support for DoD Science and Technology, Research and Development, and Test and Evaluation communities accessing HPCMP Supercomputer systems. The program's mission is to accelerate technology development and provide DoD scientists and engineers with resources for demanding warfighter problems through high-performance computing. The procurement will support four of the five DoD Supercomputing Resource Centers (DSRCs), including AFRL, ARL, ERDC, and Navy DSRCs, as well as Cross-Centers/Enterprise components.
The scope of work, detailed in the Final Draft PWS V1.1, includes:
- DSRC Operations: System integration, administration (system, network, database), cybersecurity, facilities support, and maintenance for hardware and software.
- HPC Capabilities Delivery: Installation, integration, and operation of unclassified, classified, and specialized HPC systems and related infrastructure.
- User Support: Enterprise and user assistance, including HPC Help Desk, data analysis, visualization, and user authentication.
- Cross-Centers/Enterprise Support: Program and performance management, project management, technology assessment, enterprise cybersecurity, outreach, software development, architecture support, database management, and procurement.
- Security: Comprehensive cybersecurity, physical, and personnel security.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Hybrid Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) with cost reimbursement elements for Other Direct Costs.
- Ordering Period: Five years.
