Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, material, design, and supervision necessary to deliver a base quantity of 16,410 tons of GCA, with an option for an additional 1,000 tons. The GCA will be used for the construction of Taxiway Hotel and the C-17 Assault strip, which supports Modified Heavy Aircraft. Deliveries are FOB Destination to Avon Park Air Force Range (ZIP - 33825). The GCA must conform to UFGS 32.11.23 and AASHTO #57, with specific material and gradation requirements detailed in Attachment 2. Field and laboratory quality control testing are required, including tests every 2,500 tons.
