Quick Summary
The U.S. Army Contracting Command-New Jersey, on behalf of the Joint Program Executive Office Armaments and Ammunition (JPEO A&A) and the Office of the Project Manager Close Combat Systems (PM-CCS), is conducting market research through this Sources Sought Notification (SSN) for the Terrain Shaping (TS) capability. This effort supports a bilateral Project Agreement between the U.S. and the United Kingdom (UK) to develop an autonomous materiel solution for delivering, deploying, and managing obstacles. An Industry Day is scheduled for February 25-26, 2026, near Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, to communicate the acquisition strategy and discuss user needs. Domestic companies must register by February 6, 2026, and foreign companies by January 23, 2026.
Scope of Work
The objective is to identify, develop, integrate, and demonstrate a minimum viable autonomous TS capability within one year. The required system should enable autonomous emplacement, safe passage, autonomous delivery and recovery, networked kinetic effects, obstacle planning, and non-kinetic field effects. This SSN aims to identify potential sources with expertise in these areas.
