• Operational Details: The facility typically operates two 11-12 hour shifts. Historically, about 10 people per shift managed the floor, now around 7. Labor reduction is an internal government matter.
• Inventory Definition: Inventory refers to verifying system counts against physical counts, with checkers validating parts using printed reports and physical audits to correct discrepancies.
• Order Fulfillment: Picking is real-time, with the system generating picks that are fulfilled generally the same day.
• Middleware & LMP Integration: Technical documentation for existing middleware is proprietary. Any replacement system must connect to the DoD-owned LMP, not necessarily through existing middleware.
