Scope of Work
The Prime Contractor will be responsible for furnishing all personnel, materials, and services to construct a new 407,000 square foot Indian Health Service (IHS) Hospital on the existing 14-acre site. The new facility will serve a projected user population of 19,088 by 2030 and will expand services to include a comprehensive range of primary, specialty, emergency, and support care, such as Primary Care, Telemedicine, Dental, Eye, Audiology, Emergency Services, various Specialty Cares (e.g., General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology), Behavioral Health, Acute Care, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging, and Rehabilitation Services. The project also includes the construction of two wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), improvements to AZ State Highway 73, upgrades to the Tribal Utility’s surface water treatment plant (SWTP), and replacement of a section of sewer main. The existing hospital will be demolished after the new facility is built and occupied.
