Fit reasons
- NAICS alignment with historical contract wins in similar service areas.
- Scope strongly matches core technical capabilities and delivery model.
Risks
- Past performance thresholds may require one additional teaming partner.
- Potential clarification needed on staffing minimums before bid/no-bid.
Next steps
Validate eligibility requirements, assign capture owner, and schedule partner outreach to confirm teaming strategy before submission planning.
Quick Summary
The US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), SOCNORTH PB, is soliciting proposals via a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (RFQ) for Wireless Network Deployment at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. This Total Small Business Set-Aside opportunity requires the design, development, and implementation of a Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) architecture to extend SIPRNet and NIPRNet. Proposals are due May 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM Mountain Time.
Scope of Work
The contractor will provide CSfC WLAN services through a phased approach:
- CLIN 0001 (Study and Design): Conduct pre-onsite assessments, site surveys, and deliver High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD). This is a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) CLIN.
- CLIN 0002 (Equipment Procurement and Installation): Procure, install, configure, and test the CSfC WLAN solution based on approved designs, leveraging Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). This is a Not-To-Exceed (NTE) FFP Lot.
- CLIN 0003 (Testing and Validation): Perform testing and validation to ensure performance and security compliance. This is also an NTE FFP Lot.
- CLIN 0004 (Deliverables): Provide final documentation, including as-built documentation, heatmaps, and configuration files. The project aims to achieve 95% signal coverage at -65dBm RSSI or better and maintain an SNR of at least 25dB.
Key Requirements & Compliance
The solution must be NSA-compliant and nested within the USSOCOM Enterprise Solution CSfC wireless solution, adhering to NSA CSfC Capabilities Package, DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and NSA Common Criteria standards. Personnel executing on-site work require a minimum Secret clearance; the Government will not sponsor new clearances. Unescorted access to the Top Secret Data Center requires a TS clearance. Offerors must be on the NSA CSfC approved trusted list. The contractor is responsible for procuring all necessary cabling.
