Scope of Work
The project encompasses critical airfield maintenance tasks:
- Rubber Removal: Remove rubber from runways 30 and 12 (approx. 420,000 sq ft). Aircraft arresting cables will be removed and replaced by 366th CES Power Production.
- Crack Maintenance: Seal and repair cracks in asphalt shoulders adjacent to Taxiway Alpha "A" and the Alpha Arm/Dearm Pad. Maintain cracks and sealant on the airfield shoulder on LOLA C, following UFGS 32-01-17.61 for cracks 1/4" to 4" wide. Crack repair is limited to mastic material for cracks up to 2" wide within LOLA C asphalt shoulders.
- Marking Replacement: Repaint taxiway edge and centerline markings on LOLA C, and other identified locations on taxiways, parking aprons, and flightline roads. All markings must be retro-reflective, with black outlines on PCC portions, using Type I reflective beads.
- Site Visit Additions: Clean and restripe the VFR Hold Line on Taxiway F; obliterate stop bars at 8 locations; use circular Apron Control Markings for parking apron rows 1-23 (both sides); and place IFR Hold Lines as per the Mapbook.
- Optional Items: Include markings for LOLA C & D, additional crack cleaning and sealing on LOLA C (two size ranges), removal and restriping of apron edge lines (52,500 sf), and removal/restriping of various lines (AGE Boxes, tow lines, parking lines).
