- Asbestos Surveys: Prime contractors are responsible for providing asbestos sampling; VA reports older than one year may not be accepted for disposal.
- Site Work Hours: Interior fiber, TR, TE server room, and horizontal cable work are to occur during normal business hours. All other work is to occur between 4:00 p.m. and midnight, with (4) 10-hour shifts (4:00 pm - 2:00 am) allowed.
- Personnel: A qualified Site Superintendent, CQC, and SSHO are required. A PIV Card is mandatory for all personnel working on site.
- Sales Tax: Offerors must include all state and local sales or use taxes for construction materials in their bid price.
- Firestopping: Must be performed by a UL or FM Global certified contractor.
